Music Ministry Update - Presentation

During the Wednesday evening church service the children were able to show us what they had learned from their music teacher Ran Whitley. They played their recorders beautifully!! However the power went off right before the beginning of the service and didn't come back on until right at the end of their performance. But the men of the church where able to hook up a generator so they had access to the music to play by and some light to see by. The church members were so proud at what their children were able to accomplish in such a short time.

Saying Goodbye Until Next Year

It's hard to believe our week here is over and it's time to say our goodbyes. Saying goodbye until next year is always difficult and emotional. We will miss our Honduran brothers and sisters who have a special place in our hearts. Here a few pictures from the Wednesday evening church service.

Randy accepting the patch pictured below which the students wear on their school shirt. We will place the patch on our missions bulletin board to remind us of the precious children enrolled in the school we support.

Lunch - Freshly Caught Tilapia

Today the team was provided a wonderful lunch of freshly caught Tilapia....absolutely delicious. The lunch was served at one of the church member's house. What a special way of saying thank you to our team for our involvement in their church and community. We come to Honduras with the intention of blessing them but we always come away feeling more blessed with the love of Christ they share with us!

Team Dinner - Tuesday Evening

Here is a picture from out dinner last night where we had a homestyle meal with beef, pork and chicken. Of course we had refried beans and tortilla, which are a staple for every meal! Yes they do have american soft drinks and their Fresca is not sugar free, to the contrary it has real sugar and it is wonderful! This is a special time to enjoy the local food after a long day of various activities, serving the Lord and these wonderful Honduran people.
